Kevin ClarkeFounder/Managing Director
Kevin has founded and run businesses in packaging, logistics, production and development for the past four decades. He has worked with large organisations including Marks & Spencer, The Co-op, Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Asda, Waitrose, Morrisons, Budgens and many food industry suppliers.
Working on our ground-breaking riji product, Kevin calls upon 30 years of international operations in Europe, China & South East Asia to bring this revolutionary advance to the food industry.
When he’s not working, Kevin likes to relax with family from Sydney to Somerset, and in good weather may jump on his Triumph Thunderbird 1700cc motorcycle to get a blast of fresh air.
He loves travelling, and such is his commitment to our mission, whether it’s a trip somewhere in the UK, Europe, Australia, USA or the Far East, he always visits supermarkets and other food outlets to find out what’s going on out there.
Alison Bye BRC Exec.

With a BA in Graphic Design and ten years’ experience working within, and running, offices, Alison creates systems and procedures that increase efficiency and organisation. She enjoys nothing more than surrounding herself with files, colour coded lists and tabbed spreadsheets.
Alison loves to bake in her spare time and enjoys bringing in baked goods for the team.
Neil Houghton
Operations Director
Neil is a Mechanical and Electrical Engineer with 40 years experience in a variety of food and packaging businesses. He is a fellow of the Institute of mechanical engineers and enhanced his business knowledge with an MBA in 1992.
Neil is keen to develop environmentally friendly packaging which appeals to the consumer and uses our resources wisely.
He lives in rural Herefordshire, and enjoys walks and real ale. Has two boys who are completing their academic journeys and is married to Lindy, who enjoys swimming and walking.
Ka Cheung
Bookkeeper
Ka (pronounced 'Kay') moved with her family from Hong Kong to the Southampton area and started working on our production line. We noticed a great work ethic and an ability to cope with a fast moving QC packing role and learned that Ka is not only numerate but a qualified and very skilled bookkeeper.
When the factory relocated to North Wales late in 2023, we asked Kay to be our remote bookkeeper and we are delighted that she accepted. Kay's mother tongue is Cantonese; she also understands Mandarin. She is married with a young son and is busy integrating into life in the UK.
Lizz Clarke
Company Secretary/Marketing Director
Lizz has worked in marketing for over 30 years. She has worked with major organisations including The European Space Agency, ASDA, BT, LVMH and around 600 companies with turnovers of between £1-100m. Lizz’s strengths are in devising marketing growth strategies, developing creative PR and marketing campaigns and copywriting.
Lizz has three grown children, is a qualified yoga teacher and enjoys walking, swimming, cooking, travelling and learning Spanish and French. She also sings in her local community choir
Pete Cummings
Finance Director
Peter has over 30 years of experience in international finance, mainly in the global telecoms sector, specialising in strategic studies, analysis, cost optimisation and project financial control. He has worked at senior levels with BT, Orange, Vodafone and HMRC.
Pete enjoys time with family, food and wine; mucking about in the garden and listening to music: from Beethoven to Beefheart.
