BRC Packaging & Packaging Materials Ref: 1.1.1
The scope of our operations covers the sourcing, purchasing, warehousing and distribution of a range of low carbon and biodegradable food packaging and cutlery products, as well as the manufacture of unique plant fibre packaging that replaces some plastics in the ready meal and food-to-go market.
KCC Limited recognises that concern for product safety is an integral and fundamental part of our business ethos. We are fully committed at every level of our organisation to ensure that we produce safe and legally compliant products. We aim to continually improve our performance and wherever possible, improve product quality and safety standards.
The company undertakes to implement, manage and maintain a management system that is compliant to the BRC Global Standard for Packaging & Packaging Materials.
Our practices and procedures as part of our management system include:
- Adherence to the British Retail Consortium standard for packaging and packaging materials – high hygiene.
- We are committed to ensuring that our organisation provides safe and legal products and are compliant to applicable legislation and/or regulations and customers specified requirements.
To ensure that our management system remains effective and our goals achieved, we set and measure improvement targets and our management system is regularly tested through internal and external audits.
As Managing Director, I take full responsibility to ensure that this policy is communicated and implemented throughout our organisation and any other interested parties.
